MARISA - Designer
After graduating from the School of Architecture with an honorable mention from Soegijapranata Catholic University, Indonesia in 2010, Marisa joined DP Architects Pte Ltd, Singapore, as an Architectural Assistant. During this period, she has specialized on initial design ideas and design development on a series of mixed-use development, retail, and residential projects, particularly in South-East Asia region. She was then in-charge in building series of masterplan and mixed development projects in the pipeline.
Marisa believes in the needs of strong relation between research & design process, which leads her to have constant discussion and contribution to various architectural workshop in Indonesia as visiting lecturer during studio crit and open lecture. Her training at the Bartlett School of Architecture also allowed her to broaden my spectrum of understanding design as a collaboration platform with people from different fields and profession. Her last academic position as Creative Technologist in Ngee Ann Polytechnic opens the possibility for her to morph the best curriculum from crossed disciplines to help prepare set of future agile designers who open for innovations. It’s Marisa's motto that creative industry will never be linear, and innovation requires crossroad.
